The memory of the heroes of the second defense of the city was honored in the Sevastopol camp «Gorny»

In the children’s recreation camp «Gorny» a memorial hour was held dedicated to the -th anniversary of the end of the defense of Sevastopol 1941-1942 years . The events were held as part of the profile shift “Growing Up as Patriots”, conducted by the Center for Military-Patriotic Education of Students in places where fierce battles took place during the Great Patriotic War.

Today, the relics of the Great Patriotic War, stored at Post No. 1, were solemnly brought to the parade ground. The participants of the Memorial Hour honored the memory of the fallen defenders of Sevastopol with a minute of silence, and also solemnly laid flowers at the monument to the dead pilots, located on the territory of the camp. I believe that one of the main things that we must educate in young people is respect and the desire to preserve historical memory. We live in an amazing, heroic city, therefore, first of all, we must comply with and bear the proud title of «Sevastopol».
