The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Crimea calls on Crimeans to resume social services — preferential drug coverage
CrimeaPRESS reports:
A set of social services is provided to recipients of a monthly cash payment and includes, inter alia, medicines for medical use, medical devices, specialized medical nutrition products for disabled children (by prescription).
If a patient refuses to receive a set of social services, he loses the right to preferential drug coverage under the federal benefit program, while the cost of independently purchased drugs can significantly exceed the amount of monthly compensation. Thus, in 2023, more than 14 thousand Crimeans with disabilities renewed their right to a set of social servicesnoted the Deputy Minister.
On the territory of the Republic of Crimea, certain categories of citizens are provided with preferential medicines, medical devices and specialized medical nutrition products at the expense of federal and regional budgets.
• In 2023, under the federal benefit program, drugs were dispensed to 12,672 beneficiaries using 47,223 prescriptions for a total amount of 616 million rubles.
• As part of the regional program “Combating Cardiovascular Diseases,” drugs were dispensed to 15,486 patients according to 102,988 prescriptions for a total amount of 186.4 million rubles.
• Under the program for high-cost nosologies, drugs were dispensed to 1,354 patients according to 8,030 prescriptions for a total amount of 940.7 million rubles.
• As part of the regional benefit program, 78,345 beneficiaries were dispensed drugs according to 556,917 prescriptions for a total amount of 2.6 billion rubles.
• As part of the program to combat hepatitis, drugs were dispensed to 1,498 patients according to 3,331 prescriptions for a total amount of 307.5 million rubles.
• Due to the centralized supplies of the Circle of Good Foundation, 90 children with severe life-threatening and chronic diseases, including rare (orphan) diseases, were provided with expensive medications totaling 1.2 billion rubles.
The implementation of programs to provide preferential medicines to Crimeans continues. Personalized applications have been generated, the needs of each citizen have been taken into account, and drugs have been purchased and supplied. The dispensing of preferential medications is carried out according to prescriptions written by the attending physician in an attached outpatient clinic for medical reasons for certain categories of citizens entitled to preferential drug coverage— said Arsen Ziyadinov.
