The Muftiate of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol provides assistance to covid patients — they provide oxygen machines for use

As part of a joint action of the Spiritual Board of Muslims of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol and a group of Crimean entrepreneurs, 15 districts of the republic received oxygen concentrators. Oxygen machines were sent to regional mosques, where those in need can get them for temporary use free of charge.

In particular, oxygen concentrators were transferred to the mosques of the following districts: Nizhnegorsky, Sovetsky, Simferopolsky, Razdolnensky, Kirovsky, Krasnogvardeisky, as well as to the central mosques of the city. Simferopol, Evpatoria, Saki, Feodosia, Krasnoperekopsk, Dzhankoy. Oxygen concentrators are also available in the central mosque of Belogorsk and the mosque of Pervomaisky district.

The action of the Muftiate of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol and Crimean entrepreneurs was organized in connection with the continuing trend towards an increase in the incidence of coronavirus infection and the number of cases of severe disease,

The pandemic situation is still tense, our compatriots turn to our district imams for help, the imams, in turn, turned to the Muftiyat. The action was supported by the Crimean entrepreneurs , — the press service of the Central Regional Directorate of the Spiritual Muslim Board of Crimea quotes the Deputy Mufti of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol Raim Gafarov.

These oxygen concentrators are intended for the treatment of patients with COVID-19 who require respiratory support.

The issuance of oxygen concentrators for temporary use at home is carried out on the basis of a doctor’s recommendation or an extract from the hospital, which indicates that the patient needs oxygen therapy.

To obtain an oxygen concentrator, a relative or other representative of a patient with COVID-19 may contact the regional imam. To conclude an agreement on the temporary use of the concentrator, you must have a passport.
