The new chairman of the Public Council of Simferopol — Alexander Yuryev

As part of the meeting, Alexander Yuryev was unanimously elected to the post of Chairman of the Public Council of Simferopol.

The priority tasks that are planned to be solved are construction and housing and communal services problems. We will also touch on education and health issues. During the meeting, those present elected the Deputy Chairman and Secretary of the Public Council of Simferopol.

Also, the participants of the meeting approved the composition of 5 permanent commissions:

• on culture, education, health, family, childhood, youth, tourism and sports;

on budgetary and financial issues, socio-economic development of the urban district, industry, trade and entrepreneurship, reform and development of housing and communal economy;

on transport, communications, urban planning, ecology and land relations;

on issues of social policy, harmonization of interethnic relations, local self-government, law and order;

on issues of information policy, development of civil society institutions and work with the media.
