The pace of resettlement of emergency housing will accelerate

The decree changing the mechanism of financial support for the program of resettlement of unsuitable housing was signed by the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin.
Thus, in parallel with the existing programs, a new one will be launched, which will concern houses recognized as unsafe after 2017. This will enable people to quickly move to new apartments.
In the Republic of Crimea, since 2014, about one and a half thousand Crimeans have been resettled from emergency housing under the state program. There are 2 regional targeted programs for relocating citizens from emergency housing stock on the peninsula.
The first is being implemented from 2018 to 2024. and provides for the resettlement of 37 emergency houses. The second is designed until 2025. This year it is planned to resettle 294 residential premises.
The work is being carried out within the framework of the federal project “Ensuring a sustainable reduction of uninhabitable housing stock.”
