The prosecutor of the city of Sevastopol Maxim Zhuk held a reception of shareholders of the housing cooperative «Ostryakovo»

On September 5, 2023, the prosecutor of the city of Sevastopol Maxim Zhuk held a regular field reception of citizens — shareholders of the housing construction cooperative «Ostryakovo», during which the issues of completing the construction of apartment buildings at the address: General Ostryakova Avenue, 244 were considered.

24 people applied for admission. The meeting with shareholders was held directly at the construction site of the problematic object. The unfinished residential complex at 244, Generala Ostryakov Ave., is included in the Federal Unified Register of Problem Objects. The commissioning of the houses was supposed to take place before March 2014. All apartments in them were sold to citizens under share participation agreements, but the construction of houses has not been completed. Thus, 170 families still cannot get the keys to their apartments. The Prosecutor’s Office and the Government of Sevastopol have taken a number of measures aimed at restoring the rights of construction participants. Land plot on Gen. Ostryakova, 244, transferred to UNO «Fund of the city of Sevastopol for the protection of the rights of citizens — participants in shared construction.» Signed a contract with a contractor. The progress of work at the facility is under the close attention of the supervisory authority— noted in the press service of the prosecutor’s office of Sevastopol.

This year, the city prosecutor has already met with shareholders of the housing cooperative «Ostryakovo» at this address. Then the reception was also carried out with a visit to the place. Today, the head of the supervisory agency monitored the progress of the execution of instructions previously given to him and the dynamics of the construction work.

At present, additional financing for the completion of the construction is provided at the expense of the PPK «Territorial Development Fund». Design documentation was developed, which received a positive conclusion from the state expertise. Since March 2023, the contractor has been carrying out construction and installation work, which is scheduled to be completed in December this year.

During the meeting with the city prosecutor, citizens asked questions about the timing of putting houses into operation, the specifics of the installation of roofing and communications, warranty obligations from the contractor, the procedure for restoring the rights of construction participants who were to receive ownership of non-residential premises in the same buildings.

During the reception, the shareholders were given the necessary explanations on issues of interest to them.
