The finals of the festival-competition of co-creation «Together with a mentor» and the regional competition of educational practices «Mentors of childhood — guidelines for education» were held at the House of Fleet Officers. The co-creation competition “Together with a Mentor” is dedicated to the Year of the Teacher and Mentor. Pupils and teachers presented their creative performances in the nominations “Sing together with a mentor”, “Dancing together with a mentor”, “Playing together in the theater with a mentor”, “Making music together with a mentor” and “Creating together with a mentor”.
The main idea was to show all facets of the teaching profession. For example, a history teacher at our competition dances beautifully with her pupils, and a physics teacher sings. It was important to emphasize that it is the teacher who can support any of the most daring ideas of his children and help to realize it for the benefit of his school and our beloved city of Sevastopol— the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the regional coordinator of the All-Russian project «Childhood Navigators» in Sevastopol Natalya Zagorodnaya.
Another competition — «Mentors of childhood — guidelines for education» — was held in Sevastopol for the first time. It was attended by teachers, mentors and methodologists of all Sevastopol schools in the nominations «Sport», «Media», «Patriotic education», «Museum activity», «Game activity», «Children’s associations», «Socially significant activity».
I really appreciate in my work the opportunity to create, to be an initiator or even an innovator. I am glad to share my implemented ideas with colleagues. This competition is not only a good opportunity to show your own experience of effective interaction with schoolchildren, but also a chance to learn from the experience of your colleagues. Recall that in Sevastopol the competition is held for the first time within the framework of the All-Russian project «Navigators of childhood» of the federal project «Patriotic education of citizens of the Russian Federation» of the national project «Education».
