The security of citizens during the celebration of the Nativity of Christ in Sevastopol was provided by the police

On the eve of the Nativity of Christ, the police of Sevastopol guarded the places of worship where the events were held.

At many facilities, security control was carried out using special devices. Police officers, as well as military personnel of the Russian Ministry of Defense and the National Guard, representatives of the Cossacks, voluntary people’s squads and private security structures took part in ensuring public order and the safety of citizens. On the roads near Orthodox churches, employees of the State traffic inspectorate were on duty, who ensured traffic safety during the procession. The measures taken have ensured the reliable protection of public order and the safety of citizens during the period of Christmas services, and there have been no violations of law and order. Police officers of Sevastopol will continue to serve in an enhanced mode until the end of the events , — reported the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Sevastopol.
