In the city of Saki, employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate conducted a preventive raid aimed at ensuring road safety and preventing crime among minors. Police officers identified and documented four cases of teenagers driving mopeds who did not have driver’s licenses.
In relation to the parents of young men who have not reached the minimum age for driving vehicles, employees of the juvenile affairs unit have drawn up administrative protocols under Article 5.35 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation “Failure of parents or other legal representatives of minors to fulfill their responsibilities for the maintenance and upbringing of minors.”
In relation to a 16-year-old offender, the police drew up an administrative protocol under Article 12.7 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation “Driving a vehicle by a driver who does not have the right to drive vehicles”; he faces a fine of up to 2,500 rubles,” they told about the results of the raid at the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea.
It is clarified that the vehicles were seized by State Traffic Inspectors and placed in a specialized parking lot. All materials collected by police officers will be sent to municipal administrative commissions for consideration.
