The Tax Service reminds Sevastopol residents of the deadline for submitting income declarations
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The declaration campaign, during which the citizens of the city of Sevastopol must report on their income received in 2022, is coming to an end. About who is obliged to submit a declaration on a mandatory basis and what income is exempt from taxation was discussed in detail at the next webinar under the heading «Tax Hour».
Head of the department of cameral control of personal income tax and SV No. 2 Natalia Balueva told upon receipt of what income the declaration is required.
First of all, when receiving income from the sale of real estate owned for less than the minimum period of ownership. In this case, it should be noted that in our region the law dated 11/17/2020 No. 610-ЗС is in force, by which the minimum period of ownership of property in Sevastopol, acquired after 01/01/2018, is reduced to 3 years.
Secondly, when receiving as a gift from other individuals who are not close relatives, real estate, vehicles, shares, shares, shares and other property.
Thirdly, in the case of income from the rental of residential or non-residential property.
It is also mandatory to declare remuneration from individuals and organizations that are not tax agents, for example, under civil law contracts or lease agreements for any property.
It is necessary to provide a declaration upon receipt of winnings from lottery operators, distributors, organizers of gambling held in a bookmaker’s office and sweepstakes.
And the last type of income is received from sources outside the Russian Federation.
The speaker stressed that individual entrepreneurs, notaries, lawyers, heads of peasant farms and other persons engaged in private practice should also report on their income in 2022.
At the same time, she recalled the criteria according to which citizens do not have the obligation to submit a declaration in the form of 3-NDFL at the end of 2022:
- income from the sale of housing, in which the value of the sold object or the total income from the sale of several objects does not exceed 1 million rubles.
- income from the sale of other real estate does not exceed 250 thousand rubles. For example, garages, garden houses, cars, motorcycles, parking spaces. The cost of the sold object or the aggregate income from the sale of several objects does not exceed 250 thousand rubles.
- income from a transaction of purchase — sale or donation between close relatives.
Natalia Balueva noted that this year the Department has identified about 13,000 citizens who are required to declare their income. Notifications with a reminder of the need to submit a declaration are sent to these citizens.
Of this number of potential declarants, 90 percent of citizens are individuals who must declare income from purchase and sale transactions in 2022, and 10 percent are individual entrepreneurs and private practitioners.
She stressed that as of today about 20 percent of the number of obligated citizens and the same number of entrepreneurs and other private practitioners have reported their income and urged not to postpone the submission of the declaration to the last day.
It is most convenient to fill out the declaration using the Internet service «Personal account of the taxpayer for individuals». For users of the Personal Account, filling out the 3-NDFL tax declaration online is available.
The advantages of filling out a tax return using the Personal Account are obvious: the software automatically transfers personal information about the taxpayer, information about the income received by him and the amount of personal income tax paid to the tax return. The service has a convenient and understandable interface, hints, which allows you to avoid mistakes.
