In Sudak (near the road to Bogatovka), the technical stage of the reclamation of the municipal solid waste landfill is nearing completion. Here, the work on the improvement of the territory, the construction of roads from crushed stone, the arrangement of the fertile layer and the backfilling of seeds of perennial grasses, and the connection of video surveillance are coming to an end.
In 2022 year, it is planned to continue activities for the reclamation of the object within the framework of the regional project «Clean Country», which ensures the achievement of the goals, indicators and results of the federal project «Clean Country», which is part of national project «Ecology» , — told the regional Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources.
The implementation of the regional project «Clean Country» began in 2019 and is calculated up to 2024 inclusive. The goal of the regional project is the reclamation of municipal solid waste disposal sites within the boundaries of Crimean cities.
