The territory of the Arpat waterfalls is being reconstructed in Crimea

As part of the celebration of the anniversary of the Crimean Spring, the State Autonomous Institution of the Republic of Crimea «Sudak Forestry and Hunting Enterprise» and the RNKB Bank (part of the VTB Group) are implementing a project for the reconstruction of the natural area of the Arpatian Falls (Panagaya tract near the village of Zelenogorye). The project is being implemented with the support of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Crimea. Social financing of the project amounts to about 4 million rubles, the statement says.
The bank clarified that the reconstruction involves installing stairs and support handrails, equipping rest areas, as well as placing banners describing the natural and historical features of the route. Landscape architects from KFU took part in the development of the design layout and project documentation. V.I. Vernadsky, employees of the bank and Sudak forestry.
Arpat waterfalls are part of the upper bed of the Arpat stream, the flow of which is collected from several branching sources. There are natural baths on site. Every year during the holiday season, the Arpat waterfalls become a place of attraction for tens of thousands of tourists, the credit institution added.
The reconstruction work is planned to be completed in the summer of 2024.
