Sevastopol Youth Theater opened the project «Theatrical environment». On the stage of the theater B. A. Lavrenev of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation today hosted a performance based on the story of I. S. Turgenev “Asya” for schoolchildren, students and teachers. Before the show, theater artist Regina Okuneva held a master class in acting skills for the audience, and at the end of the performance, one could take part in a dialogue-discussion with the production team led by Aksinya Normanskaya, Honored Art Worker of the Republic of Crimea.
The main goal of the project is to help school teachers create and develop school theaters, as well as immerse students in the theatrical environment, help find an important and necessary lever for creative and personal self-realization in the theater, and captivate the young generation with the study of the rich cultural heritage of Russia and peace , — the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the director of the Sevastopol Youth Theater Andrei Maimusov.
In total, until the end 600 of the year, as part of the «Theatrical Environment» will be 15 impressions. Before each performance, students and teachers will have exciting thematic workshops on acting, vocals, stage speech, effective analysis, and partnerships.
Analysis and discussions after the performances for young spectators and their mentors will become a laboratory, dedicating to the secrets of creating a theatrical production, as well as to the culture of debating,” said Yulia Pimkina, head of the methodological center.
The methodical theater center is designed to improve the qualifications and expertise of school theater directors, provide them with professional consulting and practical assistance in a timely and systematic manner, and also create a motivational «ladder of achievements» for school theater groups that would contribute to their development and stimulate qualitative creative growth.
As a reminder, the Theater Environment project is being implemented by the Methodological Theater Center within the framework of the All-Russian School Classics project, supported by the President of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Education of Russia.
