Yesterday, at 18:20, the operational control panel «CRIMEA-SPAS» received information that a man, while descending from the plateau of Mount Ai-Petri, lost his way from the path, was exhausted and could not continue moving on his own. Rescuers’ assistance is required in search and evacuation.

The duty shift of the Yalta emergency rescue squad of the State Institution of the Republic of Crimea «CRIMEA-SPAS» went to the supposed location of the victim. Upon arrival, rescuers began search operations. As a result, a man born in 1974 was found near the hiking trail— reported the emergency department.

Rescuers evacuated him to safety. He did not need medical attention. Also, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Crimea held a preventive conversation with the tourist on compliance with the rules of conduct in mountainous forest areas.
