The educational program of the DobroSTART forum will be held from October 6 to 8 in Sevastopol. The forum will bring together 100 participants who will be able to improve their advanced skills and understand what it means to be a volunteer.
The DobroSTART forum is a success story of our youth. In 2021, Misha Movsisyan won a grant to conduct the Volunteer Communities Accelerator, where participants learned to create their own projects and implement them together. The project resonated with our youth so much that in the same year we held DobroSTART for the second time, this time for experienced volunteers. Now we are again holding the kindest forum, at the end of which everyone will decide for themselves what it means to be a volunteer. I’m sure our guys will acquire new knowledge and see how important it is to help others– the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the deputy head of the department for youth and sports Marina Slonchenko.
The DobroSTART forum is being implemented within the framework of the regional project “Social Activity” of the national project “Education”. Participants will receive educational lectures about Russian volunteer projects, the ways of experts in volunteering, as well as master classes on developing the volunteer community, working with feedback, motivation and areas of volunteering.
In addition to a rich educational program, children will enjoy master classes, quizzes on volunteering and discussions on time management, reflection and self-esteem.
The DobroSTART forum has already become traditional; this year it is being held for the third time. For the first time, the forum was held as an accelerator of volunteer communities under the leadership of Misha Movsisyan, who won the “Rosmolodezh.Grants” competition.
