The winners of the city essay competition “Your choice is our future” were awarded in Sevastopol

At the award ceremony, she expressed gratitude to all the children for their personal responsibility and conscious citizenship, as well as the protection of the legal rights and interests of children and youth. The main goal set by the organizers of the competition was to encourage teenagers to think about the role of each person in the life of Russia, the importance of personal choice in the historical process, and responsibility for the future of the country.

The Chairman of the Sevastopol City Election Commission, Nina Faustova, in a conversation with the contestants, noted the literary and substantive quality of the essays prepared by the children.

The importance of elections should be realized during school years. After all, in adolescence, a person’s goals and value guidelines are formed, and the choice of his life path begins. Today, it is young people who set the direction of the country’s development, and therefore the degree of their participation in the electoral process is becoming increasingly important.emphasizes Nina Faustova.

The places were distributed as follows:

1st place – Sergey Aksyonov, cadet of the Sevastopol Cadet Corps of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation named after V. I. Istomin;
2nd place – Zlata Redko, student of school No. 31;
3rd place — Artyom Ulyankov, student of school No. 34.

The period of the competition coincided with preparations for the elections of the President of the Russian Federation, therefore the participants in their works reflected the need to improve the legal culture of young people and the importance of developing a conscious civic position. All authors of creative works received letters of gratitude and incentive gifts. It is symbolic that the awards ceremony for the competition participants took place on the eve of the inauguration of the President of the Russian Federation.
