The Yevpatoria gallery «theHARASHO» summarizes the ten-year work of graphic artist Anton Osintsev
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Anton Osintsev is a graphic artist and book illustrator. He began to study the art of drawing at the age of 5 in the art studio of the Golden Key Theater, studied at the famous art school. Yu.V. Volkov. Today Anton Osintsev is a professional illustrator living and working in St. Petersburg. The exhibition in the HARASHO gallery not only sums up the results of the artist’s ten-year work, but also completes a certain cycle of creativity. There will be a new round of development, as the artist himself said:
I started my exhibition activity just in the HARASHO gallery. I was under 18 years old. Today’s exhibition is a landmark, the specifics of my work have changed. More and more children’s illustrations are ordered by me, and my work is gradually being rebuilt to a different plane. Looking back, I thought that I need to stop and somehow spin everything in a new way in order to grow into something new. Therefore, the exhibition is reporting.
At the opening of the exhibition there were teachers of Anton Osintsev, well-known Crimean artists who have already taken place, and future creators — students of the school named after. Yu.V. Volkov. Opening the exhibition, the HARASHO gallery curator Andrey Permyakov told how he first got acquainted with the works of Anton Osintsev:
When I saw how Anton creates his works, it reminded me of a spider that weaves an incredible, beautiful and labor-intensive web. In front of him was a huge magnifying glass, a sheet of paper, which he literally embroidered with black graphic threads on a white sheet of paper with the smallest stitches. It was subtle and poetic. This is a great work and talent, and it is visible in every work.
The exhibition of Anton Osintsev will decorate the gallery of the Crimean Youth Theater until the end of March. Entrance for visitors is free.
