CrimeaPRESS reports:
At night in Yevpatoria, traffic police officers stopped an AUDI car driven by a 47-year-old local resident who was driving the vehicle with signs of intoxication.
For failure to bring administrative responsibility, the citizen persistently offered employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate a monetary reward in the amount of 60,000 rubles. For further investigation, an investigative team arrived at the scene and recorded the fact of an attempt to bribe traffic police inspectors, — the details of the case were announced by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in Crimea.
State Traffic Inspectorate officers removed the man from driving and offered to undergo an examination. When carrying out this procedure using the Alkotest device, the device readings were 0.99 mg of alcohol per liter of exhaled air.
Protocols were drawn up against the driver under Part 1 of Art. 12.8 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (driving a vehicle by a driver who is intoxicated), part 1 of Art. 12.1 Code of Administrative Offenses (Driving a vehicle not registered in the prescribed manner), Part 2, Art. 12.37 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (driving a vehicle without an insurance policy).
