To mark the anniversary of the Crimean Spring, free excursions are organized in Simferopol

On March 18, guests and residents of Simferopol are invited to attend free information tours dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the reunification of Crimea with Russia. This is reported by Tourist portal of Crimea. Participants will be told about the events of the Crimean Spring, which shaped the modern history of the peninsula.

According to the Department of Youth, Sports and Tourism of the Simferopol Administration, on this day free excursions “Crimean Spring” and “Catherine’s Mile” will be organized in the Crimean capital, both routes start in the city center.

According to tour guide Dina Mulyanova, the “Crimean Spring” tour will take place around the main places and attractions associated with the events of 2014, when Crimea was reunited with its historical homeland.

So, participants will follow the route: Victory Square – State Council of the Republic of Crimea – monument to Polite People – Republic Square – memorial sign “Our Home Russia” – bust of Count Potemkin – monument to A.S. Pushkin — Square named after. Lenin — a monument to the Militia of all times.

The tour will last approximately 2 hours. To get to it, you need to fill out and submit registration forms in advance.

Gathering — 10 minutes before the start at the T-34 Tank monument in Victory Square.

The “Catherine Mile” excursion will follow the route: Alexander Nevsky Cathedral – Taranov-Belozerov’s hospice house – former traveling palace of Catherine II – embankment of the Salgir River – monument to A.V. Suvorov — Catherine’s Garden — Church of St. Constantine and Helena.
