In the village of Novy Svet, KRYM-SPAS evacuated a man who fell into the sea while descending a zip line (descent along a tight rope, a very popular “extreme” among outdoor enthusiasts). The incident was recorded in the Bay of Love, not far from the village itself.
The man, having installed the trolls at a height of 10-12 m above sea level, while descending the cable at high speed, collided with a stone and fell into the water. The man was in the sea at a distance of about 40 m from the shore— said the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea.
The duty shift of the Sudak emergency rescue team «Crimea-SPAS» and «Ambulance» left for the scene. Rescuers and doctors on a boat of voluntary assistants swam up to the victim and moved him on a stretcher aboard the floating craft. After that, a man, a resident of Simferopol, born in 1984. was transported to shore. With numerous injuries of varying severity, he was taken to the Sudak city hospital.
