Units of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Crimea have been transferred to high alert mode

More than 40 employees of “CRIMEA-SPAS” and 100 people will be on duty every day. from the State Public Institution of the Republic of Crimea «Fire Protection of the Republic of Crimea». The Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea, Sergei Sadakliev, said that the units of the Ministry of Emergency Situations have been transferred to high alert mode for the period of the New Year and Christmas holidays:
Crimean rescuers are working in an intensive mode, ensuring the protection of the population and territories of the Republic. The Ministry of Emergency Situations has clarified plans for interaction with the government authorities of the Republic in case of emergencies on the peninsula. All rescue equipment is ready to respond. Every year in Crimea, about one and a half thousand people and more than 500 pieces of equipment are involved to ensure safety from the RSChS.
According to Sergei Sadakliev, during the holidays additional measures have been taken to prevent fires, and supervision over the trouble-free operation of housing, communal services and energy facilities has been strengthened. Additional briefings were conducted with System -112 dispatchers.
According to him, the heads of administrations of municipalities of the Republic of Crimea need to oblige the heads of service trade enterprises to prevent the unauthorized sale of pyrotechnic products in market areas.
Particular attention, according to Sergei Sadakliev, must be paid to children’s safety:
Please note that the children are on vacation! Many of them are often left to their own devices, which entails certain risks. Pay attention to your children and do not leave them unattended!, — the minister emphasizes.
In addition, Sergey Sadakliev said that due to the fact that many Crimeans and guests of the peninsula will go on vacation to mountainous and forested areas for the New Year and Christmas holidays, patrolling by GKU rescuers has also been intensified in places with large numbers of people, on tourist routes and parking lots RK «CRIMEA-SPAS» together with members of the Regional Branch of the All-Russian public organization «Russian Union of Rescuers» of the Republic of Crimea. In turn, at places of religious significance, in temples and churches, preventive work is carried out to prevent fires, namely: the presence and serviceability of primary fire extinguishing equipment, fire-fighting water supply sources and the condition of emergency exits are checked. Additionally, instructions are provided to clergy on what to do in the event of a fire,” noted Sergei Sadakliev.
Crimean rescuers remind residents and guests of the Crimean peninsula that the use of pyrotechnics is prohibited By Decree of the Head of the Republic of Crimea dated 09.09.2022 No. 214-U “On amendments to the Decree of the Head of the Republic of Crimea dated February 24, 2022 No. 32-U” the use of pyrotechnic means is prohibited throughout the territory of the Republic of Crimea.
