Unmarried residents of Crimea find their future husband's salary more interesting than his credit rating
CrimeaPRESS reports:
A dating application has been launched in the United States, in which only a person with a good credit rating confirmed by a credit history bureau can register. Service SuperJob I found out whether a similar service is needed in Russia. Economically active citizens from Crimea took part in the surveys.
Only 1 in 5 Crimeans is sure that Russia should develop its own dating app, in which only those with a good credit rating can register. 32% do not see the need for such an application. 48% found it difficult to assess.
Meanwhile, before meeting a person for a romantic relationship, 22% of single city residents would like to know the credit rating of a potential partner: “There was a fleeting acquaintance where a young man from out of town immediately announced that he had taken out a mortgage on an apartment and was looking for a girl who would help him pay.» 56% do not need such information: “Credit and human relationships are a different story”; “People will figure out for themselves who they need and who they don’t!”; “I’m bankrupt myself”; “I think this will keep a lot of men single.”
26% of single city residents would like to know about the income level of their potential partner. 55% are not interested in financial information: “Income can change at any time.”
The idea of developing an application in which only a person with a good credit rating can register was supported by 27% of women and 14% of men. Women were also more interested in the idea of choosing partners based on their credit rating (27% versus 17% among men). But even more attractive for city residents is the opportunity to get acquainted taking into account information about income level (38 and 15%, respectively). It should be noted that not all men are offended by such financial selectivity: “This should be of more interest to women, based on the fact that more often a man bears the family income on his shoulders.”
