The Main State Expertise of Russia issued a positive conclusion on the reconstruction of the educational building of the Crimean Federal University named after. IN AND. The reconstruction of the educational building began in 2011, but three years later, work stopped. Specialists from the “Single Customer” will have to complete the modernization of the building and arrange comfortable premises for teaching students. It is planned to begin construction and installation work in the second quarter of 2024,” said the company’s press service.

The press service of the “Single Customer” added that after the renovation, the area of ​​the building will be 7,700 square meters. meters. In addition, the architectural solutions of the facility will be laconically integrated into the surrounding buildings in a classical style. The reconstruction of the building is planned to be completed at the end of 2025.

More than 700 students will study in the building of the Institute of Economics and Management. There will be classrooms, recreational areas, a lecture hall with a foyer, as well as administrative and utility rooms.

Currently, new dormitories with 250 and 450 beds are also being built for university students. There will be residential, administrative and ancillary premises, including accommodation for people with limited mobility. It is planned that the buildings will be put into operation in the fall of 2024.

Crimean Federal University named after V.I. Vernadsky unites 13 institutes, 7 colleges and technical schools, and a number of research centers. The main specialties are medicine, construction, agriculture, tourism, archeology, etc. The total number of students at the university is about 30 thousand people.
