Today, representatives of the administration of Simferopol congratulate veterans of the Great Patriotic War, residents of besieged Leningrad, underage prisoners of concentration camps on the Victory Day on the great holiday.
On May 9, the whole country celebrates the 78th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. This day is special for every person, for every family. Today we remember all those who fought, home front workers, children of war, those who were involved in the Great Victory— noted in the administration of the Crimean capital.
For veterans, his relatives and neighbors, concert programs were organized, songs of the war years and dedicated to the war — «Kalinka», «Victory Day» and many others — were performed. The event was attended by the city brass band, the Children’s Administration and volunteers of the Victory.
The head of the administration of Simferopol, Mikhail Afanasiev, personally visited Gusev Mikhail Ivanovich, Knyazev Vasily Vasilyevich and Tropin Gennady Pavlovich.
The head of administration expressed his sincere gratitude to each veteran, wished him good health, happiness and a peaceful sky over his head.
