Was there any debt? Litigation in Sudak
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The Sudak City Court of the Republic of Crimea considered a civil case on the claim of a legal entity engaged in the return of overdue debts (the so-called collection agency) to a resident of the city of Sudak for the collection of a debt in the amount of 55 thousand rubles and legal costs.
During the trial, it was established that on behalf of the defendant, through an Internet site owned by one of the microfinance organizations operating in the form of a limited liability company, an electronic loan agreement was concluded in the amount of 22 thousand rubles for a period of 56 days. When checking the bank accounts and telephone numbers provided to receive funds, it was established that they did not belong to the defendant, and therefore the court decided to reject the claim based on the evidence received and the arguments of the debtor, who explained the illegal use of a photocopy of a citizen’s passport of the Russian Federation, previously provided by it to other organizations for processing expensive purchases— the details of the case were announced in the press service of the court.
