Where is the university going? The Supervisory Board discussed the development of SevSU
The meeting of the Supervisory Board chaired by Mikhail Razvozhaev was held at SevGU.

The city and the country need all the scientific developments and research that our scientists are working on. First of all, this is an urgent issue of creating drones: underwater, surface and flying. Questions of development of agriculture, first of all — viticulture. Sevastopol State University is one of the leading higher educational institutions in the South of Russia and has the largest scientific, innovative and technological potential in the Crimea.
More than 53 percent of students study in a group of areas of engineering, technology and technical sciences.
Most of the graduates get a job in their specialty, half remain to work in the region.
The assessment by the supervisory board of the results of the university’s work in 2022 was very important. It is important that in the course of the work of the supervisory board, we received from the members of the board and Mikhail Vladimirovich Razvozhaev, who heads the board, a number of practical recommendations for further improving the work of the university, in addition, a program of joint actions with the region was determined to improve the key indicators of the university, where the region could to provide assistance, including the conduct of research and development, the development of a system of additional education and targeted training— says the rector of SevGU Vladimir Nechaev.
The strategic goal of the University is to move to an innovative type model by 2030, providing scientific and technological leadership of Russia in the market of advanced research and technologies in the marine field of activity, the formation of a cluster of new industries in the ecosystem of the world-class REC of the federal city of Sevastopol and the Republic of Crimea «MoreAgroBioTech» and Russia’s humanitarian influence in the Greater Mediterranean region.
The Supervisory Board of SevSU is a collegiate governing body of the university, the creation of which is mandatory for autonomous institutions. Formed by order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia dated June 01, 2015 No. 553. It consists of 11 people. On December 16, 2020, the Governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev was unanimously elected Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Sevastopol State University.
