Work on the improvement of the coastal park in Shchelkino is in the active phase. The work is being carried out within the framework of the national project “Housing and Urban Environment”.
The Coastal Park project in Shchelkino was declared the winner of the VI All-Russian competition for the best projects for creating a comfortable urban environment in 2022. Many projects took part in the competition, taking into account the opinions of residents, and it was the projects with the greatest support from citizens that received high marks from experts— said the Republican Ministry of Housing and Communal Services.
The improvement project provides for the development of green park areas, which will create a pleasant atmosphere for relaxation. As part of the project, children’s and sports grounds, recreational areas, art objects, as well as bicycle infrastructure are being created. Work in the park is scheduled to be completed by the end of this year.
