Yalta Avangard will host the Crimean Cup in track and field throwing

28 January, in Yalta, on the basis of the renovated stadium of the Avangard sports and recreation complex (Biryukova St., 2a), the 1st stage of the Crimean Cup in track and field throwing will be held. These are the first competitions to be held at the stadium after its reconstruction.

About a hundred of the strongest Crimean throwers of all age categories from Yalta, Sak, Simferopol, Dzhankoy and the Kirov region will compete in discus, hammer and javelin throws, the Crimean Sport « in the press service of the Crimean Republican Athletics Federation .

In the javelin throw sector, the leaders of the Russian national team among juniors up to 23 years will perform — the winner of the Russian championship, master of sports Evgeny Bryushenko and the bronze medalist of the Russian championship, master of sports Alexander Murygin, as well as the finalist of the Russian Championship and the 1st All-Russian Spartakiad, Master of Sports Kirill Fomenko and finalist of the Russian Championship among girls under 18 years old, Candidate for Master of Sports Tatiana Kharitonova.

The beginning of the competition in the javelin throw is at 9.30, and in the discus throw — at 12.40. Hammer throwers will enter the sector at .30.
