The key event of the educational program was the First Meganom Stars Classical Music Festival, which is held in support of young names and national musical culture. The festival included chamber concerts by members of the symphony orchestra. The music program is based on works by young Russian composers and recognized masterpieces of classical music. Among the new names of classical music is Anastasia Chernova from Moscow with the inspiring play «Take off», which was created for the play based on Richard Bach’s play «The Seagull Jonathan Livingston». In addition, the young composer Igor Komar from Belarus presented several works at the festival at once: the non-classical composition Sentimental Waltz and the chamber cantata Mother’s Confession.

The festival opened on July 20 with the performance of musicians at the finals of the All-Russian competition «Big Break» for students in grades 5-7. The series of musical events continued with a chamber concert at the Novy Svet Champagne House. In addition to the performances of the participants of the educational program, an exhibition of works by talented artists from the Tavrida art cluster was held in the wine cellars and tunnels. The Stars of Meganom Classical Music Festival will end on July 22 with a big concert of the symphony orchestra led by Yuri Bashmet. Masterpieces of classical music and works by young composers played at sunset right on the coast of the Akademichesky beach. The open concert was attended by more than 650 spectators, including local residents and guests of the Crimea. Young and promising participants of the educational program ー Maxim Akulov, Alexander Andrianov, Zalina Kardanova, Veronika Kuntsevich and Nikolai Mazaev joined the team of the master and the Legend of Taurida as conductors.
