Yuri Gotsanyuk: “Let’s not forget about the terrible price that paid for the freedom of our country, Europe and the whole world”

Dear friends, I congratulate you on the 79th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War!

May 9 is the day of triumph of the Red Army and Navy, a symbol of courage, perseverance and fortitude of the Soviet people, who won the bloodiest war in the history of mankind.

We honor the winners of fascism, honor the memory of our fathers, grandfathers and great-grandfathers, who forged Victory at the front and in the rear, in partisan detachments and underground.

Let us never forget the terrible price that was paid for the freedom and independence of our country, Europe and the whole world.

Today, decades later, our Armed Forces and militias are once again at the forefront of the fight against this threat, defending the security of Russia and restoring historical justice.

Throughout history, unity and cohesion have helped to overcome all difficulties and trials, to achieve victories, and they will help us today.
