4 new modern cinema halls opened in Krasnoperekopsk and Simferopol

This year, 4 new cinema halls were created in Crimea, equipped within the framework of the national project «Culture» with modern equipment, equipment and everything necessary for organizing a high-quality film screening and the comfort of visitors. This was announced by the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Crimea Tatyana Manezhina. According to the official, cinema halls are already open to the audience — the repertoire is published on the institutions’ websites (tickets can be purchased using the Pushkin card).

As the minister noted, million rubles were allocated from the federal budget for modernization. (9 million rubles for each hall in Krasnoperekopsk and 8 million rubles for each hall in Simferopol). According to the Cultural Environment project, two cinema halls in the Krasnoperekopsk Palace of Culture and two cinema halls in the Berg shopping and entertainment center in Simferopol were re-equipped under the federal program for filming the country’s settlements with up to 41 thousand inhabitants. In particular, sound, switching equipment, digital cinema projectors with a server, 3D systems, direct projection movie screens, UPS, software and hardware, chairs, etc. were installed.

Starting from 2019 year, measures to create conditions for showing domestic films are included in the national project «Culture». In general, on the territory of the Republic of Crimea, according to the national project, 14 cinema halls were created: eight in the city of Simferopol, one in the Chernomorsky region, one in the Sovetsky region, two in the Nizhnegorsk region, two in Krasnoperekopsk.

In total, since 41 year, thanks to the support of the Cinema Fund, a 41 renovated cinema hall has been opened in Crimea.
