Crimean Republican Universal Scientific Library. AND I. Franco is shown the art exhibition «Road to the Universe», dedicated to the 85 anniversary of the birth of Valentina Tereshkova, the only woman in the world who made an independent space mission.
Works of students of the art studio «Rainbow» are exhibited. Young artists depicted the mysterious sky and boundless space in their works. Valentina Tereshkova — Hero of the Soviet Union, USSR pilot-cosmonaut, laureate of the State Prize of the Russian Federation, has received numerous awards from the USSR, Russia and other countries. Her flight into space is an event that amazed the whole world and greatly contributed to the fact that Soviet space science was in the center of attention of scientists all over the planet, and the name of the first female cosmonaut became known to every civilized person on Earth , — noted in the press service of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Crimea.
