Biennale of contemporary watercolors to open in Alushta

At the International Biennale of Contemporary Watercolors in Alushta 130 paintings by artists from Russia, countries of near and far abroad will be presented. According to the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Crimea, the forum was organized by the Alushta Literary and Memorial Museum of S.N. Sergeev-Tsensky with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Crimea and the Union of Watercolorists of Russia.
The opening of the IV International Biennale «Modern Watercolor Crimea-Alushta» will be held on July 4, at 15: in the Museum-estate of A.N. Beketova.
The Alushta Biennale of Watercolors is not only a professional forum and an exhibition of paintings, it is a complex of artistic events dedicated to the 160 anniversary of the birth of artist-architect Alexei Beketov and 35-anniversary of the museum , — noted in the Republican Ministry of Culture.
As part of the project, master classes, expert consultations, as well as plein airs and field events will be held.
