Competitions in sports radio direction finding «Sly Fox» were held in Sevastopol

Sapun Mountain hosted the Open City competition in sports radio direction finding «Cunning Fox». These are traditional annual competitions that complete the academic year. The organizer of the competition is the Sevastopol Station for Young Technicians.

Sport radio direction finding is a technical sport, the essence of which is the operational search for radio transmitters camouflaged on the ground. More than athletes aged from 7 to 18 years. Participants, using a radio receiver and headphones, searched the area for radio transmitters (“foxes”) according to the programs of their age categories. The best were those who found a given number of «foxes» in the shortest time. The winners received medals, diplomas and thanks, and all participants received sweet gifts , — the press service of the Quantorium Children’s Technopark (Sevastopol) reported.
