Crimean Drama Theater named after Gorky presented the premiere of the play «Dark History»

In the Crimean Academic Russian Drama Theater. M. Gorky, the premiere of the play «Dark History» based on the play by the English playwright Peter Schaeffer took place.

In the interpretation of the creators of the performance — the author of the stage version Vladimir Magar and the stage director Andrey Chakvitai — the sitcom turns into a farce, a fascinating spectacle where humor and enchanting theatricality are organically combined.

Peter Schaeffer is a contemporary British playwright and screenwriter (and an Oscar winner as well). Recognition and world fame 35 years ago, the play «Amadeus» brought him. Schaeffer is the winner of many prestigious literary and theatrical awards. The comedy «Dark History» is on the stage of many theaters. Its main action takes place in the dark.

The unsuccessful sculptor Brindsley Miller decides to get rich by getting a prominent collector to visit. But the lights go out in the house, and Miller has to deal with a neighbor in complete darkness, whose antique furniture he dragged into his apartment for solidity, with the bride he left for a new enterprising passion, with her father and many others.
