The police are investigating an accident in which two people were injured — a pedestrian and the driver of a car. According to the traffic police, the collision happened the night before (at 19:00) on the 4th km of the Yalta-Sevastopol highway.
A driver, born in 1985, driving a VAZ-21043 car, moving from Alushta in the direction of Sevastopol, hit a pedestrian, born in 1938, who was crossing the roadway not at a pedestrian crossing in his visibility zone, from right to left along the way car movement. As a result of the accident, the driver of the VAZ-2143 car and the pedestrian were injured and taken to the hospital— reported the traffic police.
The State Traffic Inspectorate arrived at the scene of the traffic accident. The circumstances of the incident are being established.
