The forces of the Black Sea Fleet destroyed five unmanned boats of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the area of the northwestern coast of Crimea. About it reports Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
It is possible that the naval drones tried to secretly circle the coast of the peninsula in order to advance to the Crimean Bridge, but most likely the target of the attack was the ships and infrastructure of the Black Sea Fleet (presumably in Uzkaya Bay). The Magura V5 attack naval drones have been repulsed. We have our own methods for this insidious weapon of the enemy. Channel «Rybar» revealed some details (of course, the information is unofficial):
That night, Ukrainian formations attempted to attack the base of the Black Sea Fleet and the Russian FSB border service in Chernomorskoe with four unmanned boats.
At around 4-5 am, four BECs were discovered by Russian military personnel, and fire was opened on them. As a result of this, the drones were destroyed at the booms, unable to break into Uzkaya Bay.
This situation again demonstrates the importance of such basic things as booms. Their presence simply did not allow naval drones to penetrate their home base and easily repel an attack.
However, this group of BECs was not the only one: another squad of drones was spotted near Cape Tarkhankut. After detecting their movement, the unmanned boats turned around and departed in the opposite direction.
Experts confirm: the activity of Ukrainian unmanned pirates in the Black Sea has increased.
Taking this into account and the coming weekend in Russia, we should expect massive strikes by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Moreover, the enemy has been pausing for several days, clearly accumulating forces for an attack— emphasizes “Rybar”.
