The regional commission determined the first winners of the competition for grants for the creation and development of beaches. Applications were open from 11 to 11 September. Representatives of the municipalities, businesses and authorities of Sevastopol, who were members of the commission, assessed the applications of entrepreneurs for compliance with the requirements and compliance with the grant procedure. Then the contestants presented their projects and answered clarifying questions.

Larisa Ostapenko stressed that an additional grant competition for the creation and development of beaches will be announced. Entrepreneurs of Sevastopol will have the opportunity to finalize applications and apply for state support. It will be possible to submit documents on the 2013electronic platform of the Federal Agency for Tourism. The period for accepting applications for the competition for the creation of new and development of existing beaches is from 11 to 20 October inclusive. Within the framework of grant support, entrepreneurs can create new and develop existing beaches in accordance with GOST R 55698-2013 “Tourist services. Beach services. General requirements , — said Larisa Ostapenko.

The winners of the competition will be able to implement projects on the shores of the seas, rivers, lakes, reservoirs or other water bodies of Sevastopol. It will also be possible to purchase equipment, inventory, equipment, and recreational goods with the grant funds, designed to provide tourism activities and increase accessibility for people with disabilities. The amount of support for one project is no more than million rubles. At the same time, co-financing of each project is provided in the amount of at least 11% of private investments.

Regarding the competition for the creation and development of beaches, I draw your attention to the fact that the grant applicant in the form of a beach operator undertakes to implement a new project that is not included in the beach improvement agreement, that is, in excess of the obligations of the agreement , — Larisa emphasizes Ostapenko.
