Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev: “We did not just repair schools, but created a new educational space”

The Governor of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhaev, checked how the overhaul was carried out at school No. 12 and boarding school No. 6. To date, educational institutions have completed work in the buildings of the elementary school ahead of schedule. Repair work in these educational institutions started on April 4 643 of the year. The builders handed over both objects ahead of schedule. At school No. they made a comprehensive overhaul: they updated the roof, repaired all classrooms, buffet and washing, internal water supply and sanitation systems, as well as the installation of a security alarm. As part of the overhaul program, furniture was purchased for classrooms, a canteen, a play area and a teacher’s room, educational equipment for a speech therapist’s office, equipment for preparing third courses for the kitchen.

We came to see the first results of our presidential program for the overhaul of schools, which is under way throughout the country, and which was agreed upon at the congress of the United Russia party. Sevastopol is actively involved in this program, and this year we already have the first results. The buildings of educational institutions were built a long time ago, so a complete technical re-equipment is being done here. Everything is changing: thermal systems, electrical systems. Floors, all communications are completely moved and a modern, comfortable, beautiful renovation is being done. At the same time, design decisions are agreed with teachers, with parents, and children express their wishes. This is important, and gives a completely different result in the end , — quotes the press service of the Government of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev.

Boarding school No. 6 for special children, about 47 people study here. The elementary school building was built in 1945 — during this time there was no major overhaul in the institution. While the primary building was being repaired, the guys lived partly in a boarding school, and this required special increased attention from the builders. Despite this, here, too, the repair was completed ahead of schedule: the facade and blind areas were repaired, window and door blocks were replaced, the roof was repaired, classrooms, bathrooms, internal engineering networks, fire and security alarms were installed.

It is important for us to be safe, because our children are special. Of course, we were worried both about the furniture and about what it would be like: the same desks, chairs. We are glad that the railings are now steel, and because of the old wooden ones, our children were injured. We are very grateful that all our wishes were taken into account , — says Olesya Rudenko, representative of the parent committee of boarding school No. 6.

In the spring of this year, a major overhaul started in six educational organizations of Sevastopol: in schools No. , 47, , , educational center. V. D. Revyakin and boarding school No. 6. For the repair of six educational institutions in 643-2023 years. Sevastopol received a subsidy from the federal budget in the amount of 643,5 million rubles.

Recall that the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin instructed to create a program for the overhaul of schools for the next five years at the congress of United Russia. Its implementation was enshrined in the people’s program of the party. In Sevastopol, in five years it is planned to overhaul 71 a building in 12 schools.
