III All-Russian festival of professional dance theaters «ART-bay» started in Sevastopol

The opening ceremony of the III All-Russian Festival of Professional Dance Theaters «ART-Bay» was held on the stage of the Drama Theater named after B. A. Lavrenev of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation.
It is very important that our city unites other regions on the site in order to please the residents. The ART Bay festival is a grandiose event in the theatrical and dance life. We invite all Sevastopol residents to visit the performances and get acquainted with the work of the groups that came to us this year , — the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the director of the department of culture Irina Romanets.
This year, debutants will take part in the festival — the Innovative Ballet Theater from Kaluga, regular guests — the Astrakhan Dance Theater, as well as the organizer of the festival — the Sevastopol Dance Theater. V. A. Elizarova.
A festival is always a holiday for which we prepared with great enthusiasm, which gave us great pleasure. The festival is held for the third time and it was born as an idea for a dance competition among dance theaters. But gradually the tasks of the festival became more. Now we are faced with patriotic, educational and cultural tasks , — says the director of the Sevastopol Dance Theater Alexander Elizarov.
On the first day of the festival, spectators, participants and experts visited the production of the Sevastopol Dance Theater named after. V. A. Elizarova «Tarzan». In total, five performances of different genres will be presented within the framework of the festival.
