In Feodosia, a local resident will go to a colony for robbery

The prosecutor’s office of the city of Feodosia supported the state prosecution in a criminal case against a 44-year-old local resident. He was found guilty under Part 2 of Art. 162 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“robbery”).
The court found that in November last year, the defendant, while intoxicated, entered a store with the aim of stealing property, where there was no one except the victim, who worked as a salesperson. The man hit her on the head with a stone he brought with him and, holding the woman by the hair, pulled out money in the amount of 1.7 thousand rubles from the cash register, after which he fled the scene,” the prosecutor’s office provided details.
The man’s illegal actions were stopped by officers of the Russian Department of Internal Affairs in the city of Feodosia.
The court, taking into account the position of the state prosecutor, sentenced the defendant to 3 years in prison to serve the sentence in a general regime correctional colony. The verdict did not enter into legal force.
