In Sevastopol, 2,000 citizens took part in the first community cleanup this year
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Today in Sevastopol the first cleanup day of this season was held. Government employees and citizens worked at 33 locations — cleaning up green areas, areas near monuments and obelisks, and military graves. Participants cleaned areas, mowed grass, cut dry branches, removed garbage — all collected garbage was collected and taken away. In total, almost 2,000 people took part in the cleanup today.
It’s great that such events have become family events: many people bring their children, who help the adults clean up. And today they even brought a Viking cat to one of the locations. I thank everyone who helped make our city cleaner today,” the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the city governor.
