In Sevastopol, a new composition of the Public Council on Youth Policy was determined

CrimeaPRESS reports:

On the basis of the Resource Center for Support of Volunteerism, the first meeting of the renewed Public Council on Youth Policy under the Department of Youth and Sports was held. The new composition of the Public Council is formed annually. It can include representatives of youth organizations, the media, professional and expert communities, as well as activists and volunteers of Sevastopol. Total – 15 people.

This year we have a really strong composition of the public council. It included representatives of regional branches of All-Russian organizations, volunteer communities, public figures and just active guys. I am sure that together we will be able to involve even more residents of Sevastopol in the implementation of youth policy, — the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the Deputy Head of the Department for Youth and Sports Marina Slonchenko.

At the first meeting, a chairman, a vice-chairman and an executive secretary are elected by simple vote. This year, these positions were taken by members of the Russian Union of Youth: Andrey Borisov, Gadzhiaga Babaev and Daria Zhuravel.

It is a great honor for me to take the position of executive secretary. Ahead of us are many meetings and events, close work with the Office for the benefit of our youth , says Daria Zhuravel.

Recall that the Public Council is being created in order to attract young people to the process of socio-economic development of the city, to prepare and involve socially active young people in managerial activities, to improve their legal and political culture.
