On December 15, at noon, the operational duty shift of the Crisis Management Center of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the city of Sevastopol received a message from eyewitnesses that a private house was on fire in the gardening partnership «Karavai».

The forces of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations moved to the site: two departments of the 6th fire and rescue unit, one department of the 4th fire and rescue unit, a fire extinguishing and rescue service, as well as a tanker truck of a voluntary fire brigade. Upon arrival, units determined that the roof and attic of a three-story private residential building were on fire. 2 barrels B were used to extinguish the fire. In the shortest possible time, the fire was localized and the open burning was eliminated. At 14:35 the fire was completely extinguished; its area was 80 square meters.— reported the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in Sevastopol.
