In Sevastopol, preschoolers learned about the rules of the road in the framework of the «ABC of road sciences»

Kindergarten No. 65 hosted the event “ABC of road sciences». It was held by representatives of the Department of Education and the traffic police. The lesson was timed to coincide with the granting of the status of a regional innovation platform to the kindergarten and the opening of the Movement of Young Inspectors in preschool organizations in Sevastopol. Pupils were admitted to the UID squad for the first time and were given the appropriate certificates.

Roads and transport are the realities of today’s life. Our children will have to live with an incomparably greater aggressiveness of car traffic, and therefore every day it is more and more difficult to ensure their safety. The purpose of the ABC of Road Sciences is to form a system of pedagogical knowledge and practical skills for the prevention of child road traffic injuries.

Since 2020 we have been the basic support platform among preschool organizations in the Gagarinsky district for the study of road safety. Today, teachers presented their experience in interacting with parents and shared how they conduct training sessions with children, and the pupils of our kindergarten were the first in Sevastopol to be accepted into the squad of Young traffic inspectors , — says speech therapist Svetlana Bekryasheva.

Also today, kindergarten teachers, together with the parents of pupils, held an intellectual game “What? Where? When?».
