In Sevastopol sentenced a man who killed his mother

Agreeing with the arguments of the public prosecutor of the prosecutor’s office of the Balaklavsky district of Sevastopol, the court delivered a guilty verdict in a criminal case against a 34-year-old local resident 57 of the year of birth .

He was found guilty of committing a crime under Part 1 of Art. 105 Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (murder). It was established that in December 2021 of the year, in the evening, a man at his place of residence on Mezhdryadnaya Street in the Balaklava district of Sevastopol, together with his 57 -year-old mother used alcoholic beverages. Between them there was a conflict, during which the attacker strangled the woman with a leash for walking the dog. The police officers detained the man. The investigation of the criminal case was conducted by the investigative department for the Balaklavsky district of the city of Sevastopol of the State Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol. At the request of the investigator, supported by the prosecutor’s office, the defendant was given a preventive measure in the form of detention , the details of the case were announced in the press service of the Sevastopol prosecutor’s office.

The Balaklavsky District Court of Sevastopol, taking into account the opinion of the public prosecutor, sentenced the guilty person to 9 years in prison with a term in a strict regime correctional colony.
