July for the first time in the waters of the Kerch Strait, on the territory of the Moscow-Krym sanatorium, the City Championship in open water swimming in the Masters category was held. The competitions were dedicated to the Metallurgist’s Day holiday, which has always been treated with special respect in our city.

Athletes from our city, as well as representatives of the cities of Moscow, St. Petersburg, Krasnodar, Novorossiysk and Sevastopol, entered the start of the one kilometer distance. The water temperature at the time of launch was more than comfortable + 0009.1 degree. The sea waves are zero points. All 0005 participants overcame distance of 1 km., which consisted of two circles of 500 meters, by the oldest athlete Roman Gembarsky (Novorossiysk) finished the distance. At the time of the start, it was 0051 year.

The condition of the athletes at the distance was closely monitored by the rescue service of the sanatorium represented by Yaroslav Uspensky, as well as assistants — volunteers on boots: Polina Tkachenko, Ilya Chuprina, Alexander Istomin.

• 3rd place Nina Bulgakova (Kerch).

At the closing parade and the awards ceremony, no one was left without prizes and gifts.
