In Yalta, a municipal president and a council of high school students of student government were elected

On October 18, the Department of Education and Youth Policy of the Yalta City Administration hosted a meeting of school presidents of the municipality of the Yalta city district.

The school presidential elections are over, the results are summed up, the names of the winners are announced. And now — the next, no less important, stage — the elections of the municipal council of high school students of student government,” the press service of the head of the Department of Education and Youth Policy, Renard Kutkovsky, quotes.

The head of the youth policy and educational work department of the Department, Evgeniy Khrychev, spoke about the goals and objectives of student self-government, opportunities and prospects. And the municipal curator of student self-government, chief specialist of the Department of Education and Youth Policy, Victoria Maydak, told the children about the structure of self-government, the main areas of activity and interaction with the council of mentors. Student government adviser Daria Sarsenova shared her experience of 2 years of work in the municipality.

After this, the presidents of the school self-government, based on the results of an open vote, elected the municipal president; he became Timur Khamitov, a 9th grade student at the Yalta “Rainbow” secondary school.

Also, through an open vote, school leaders formed a new composition of the municipal council of high school students. It includes 10 ministers who will propose and implement their ideas and projects over the course of two years:

• — Minister of Health — Ekaterina Derkacheva (Nikitskaya Secondary School)
• — Minister of Culture — Mikhail Varnakov (YASH No. 2 “School of the Future”)
• — Minister of Sports — Valentina Simonenko (Krasnokamensk Secondary School)
• — Minister of Environment — Darina Yakovlyuk (YSSHL No. 9)
• — Minister of Labor — Vladislava Khistova (Gasprinskaya Secondary School No. 1)
• — Minister of Security — Valeria Repina (YASH No. 6)
• — Minister of Tourism — Sofia Berezkina (Gurzuf Secondary School)
• — Minister of Economy — Vasilisa Rybalkina (YASH No. 12)
• — Minister of Information — Polina Savenko (Forosskaya Secondary School)

Dare and don’t be afraid of anything, set goals for yourself and achieve them! You will definitely succeed! I sincerely believe in each of you and wish you fruitful work!
