The Russian hotel and apartment booking service TVIL.RU has identified the most mystical travel destinations in the fall of 2023, based on urban legends, mysterious stories, and historical anecdotes. In the first place among such destinations, naturally, is St. Petersburg, in second is Kaliningrad, with its forts and dungeons, and in third is Nizhny Novgorod, in the vicinity of which there is Lake Svetloyar, which, as legends say, arose on the site of ancient Kitezh,” noted the service’s press service.
