Today in Simferopol, at school-gymnasium No. 39 named after Ya.G. A line-up was held at Kreizer, during which memorial plaques were unveiled to school graduates Mikhail Kovyazin and Alexander Sava, who died while performing service and combat missions during a special military operation.

Sava Alexander Evgenievich was born on December 12, 2001 in Simferopol. From 2008 to 2017 he studied at school-gymnasium No. 39 named after Ya.G. Kreizer. After school, he studied at the Simferopol College of Railway Transport and Industry. On October 4, 2021, he entered military service under a contract in the 810th Separate Guards Order of Zhukov, Marine Brigade, Howitzer-Artillery Division of Sevastopol with the rank of Guards sailor. From February 26, 2022, he was sent to Ukraine to liberate civilians from nationalists. The 810th brigade liberated: Melitopol, Berdyansk, Volnovakha and Mariupol. Next were: Donetsk region and Kherson region, where Alexander’s life was cut short at the age of 20. During the assault on the village of Bezymennoye, Kherson region, in the village of Chkalovo, a howitzer artillery division was overtaken by enemy shells. Alexander was seriously wounded, but despite this, he helped load other wounded people onto cars until he lost consciousness. Due to the large loss of blood, they did not have time to take him to the hospital.

For the courage and heroism shown in the performance of military duty, by Decree of the President of Russia, Alexander Evgenievich Sava was awarded the medal for the liberation of Mariupol and the Order of Courage posthumously.

Mikhail Viktorovich Kovyazin was born on December 29, 1987 in Simferopol. From 1995 to 2005 he studied at school No. 39. After graduating from school, he studied at the Tauride College of Economics and Management. Since May 2019, he served in a military unit as a commander of a howitzer artillery battery, a private. He was subsequently promoted to the rank of sergeant. Since February 24, 2022, he participated in the Special Military Operation as a deputy platoon commander, commander of a howitzer battery gun crew as part of the 126th separate coastal defense brigade. In the summer of 2022, the 126th Coastal Defense Brigade conducted a successful military operation, for which the brigade was awarded the rank of Guards. Mikhail Kovyazin received the rank of guard sergeant and was awarded a government award — the insignia of the Order of St. George — the St. George Cross, IV degree. On September 22, 2022, Guard Sergeant Mikhail Kovyazin was seriously injured and died on November 6, 2022 at the Burdenko Military Hospital in Moscow.
